AUTO Terminal Training Sdn Bhd (TEKAT-The Institute of Automotive Technology) offering an Automotive Repair Course in Malaysia. Automotive Repair Courses train students for hands-on careers as mechanics or other auto repair professionals.
These courses are normally completed during a certificate levels. Students in an Automotive Repair Programme gain hands-on experience working with brake systems, heating and cooling systems, engines, electrical systems, steering systems and transmissions. In general, they learn how to install, maintain, repair and replace automotive parts.
The learning levels are as such:
SKM LEVEL 2:
“Competent in performing a significant range of varied work activities, performed in a variety of context. Some of the activities are non-routine and required individual responsibility and autonomy.”
SKM LEVEL 3:
“Competent in performing a broad range of varied work activities, performed in a variety of context, most of which are complex and non-routine. There is considerable responsibility and autonomy control or guidance of others is often required.”
DKM LEVEL 4:
“Designed to progress skills of Automotive Technicians, competent at level 3 to higher, by developing their ability to determine solutions to a variety of unpredictable problems. It aligns with the majority of manufacturer Master Technician training and assessment programmes”
